Old Skateboard Parts Gives Kids a Fresh Start

What was collecting dust in your garage is now going to bring someone many more years of four-wheeled happiness.  THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the shop in March to donate their old skate parts to us.  Because of your generosity, we were able to hook up 15 of our Push Ahead students at Paxinosa Elementary with their very first skateboard.

  

With the help of our volunteers, we were able to help all of the kids pick out all of their own parts, put their boards together from start to finish and of course get a session in to break in their new boards.

  

  

That "first skateboard" feeling. You never forget it.

  

Sam started out as a student in our program and now volunteers her time with us to help us pass the stoke to the next generation. Thank you Sam!
