what you missed if you went to the dinosaur jr show last night

First Friday’s on the Southside are always a good time- especially when the weather’s nice like last night.

So why someone would waste their time in Lancaster seeing some old band like Dinosaur Jr . . . Just kidding y’all.

But if you left town, you defintely missed an epic night on the Southside.  We started the night at Homebase for the monthly L.V.A.N. art show opening.  This month we debuted the 3rd Annual Backed in Black Griptape Show.

More pictures from Mike Panic to be posted soon can be seen here.

We have new neighbors across the street now, the Loose Threads Boutique.

They had their grand opening on First Friday so for all the ladies who feel left out that Homebase doesn’t always have the greatest selection of women’s apparel- check them out.

But hey- we do have some good stuff in right now for women.

The night ended at the Tally Ho for some karaoke and me kicking myself for not bringing my digital camera.  Pensyl, Emery, Bubba and Pat did an epic version R. Kelly’s ‘I’m a Flirt.”  No camera- blowing it.

Bubba did take these pictures on his phone of Nicollelo standing a table singing Guns n’ Roses.  Words and pictures can not describe the experience.  Goodtimes.
