Roger Skateboards is the brain child of Michael Sieben and Stacy Lowery. Some of the older heads and the nerds out there will remember Stacy from Powell skateboards as well as Santa Cruz. You might unknowingly be a Sieben fan from Thrasher Mag. Remember the article about tattoo flash? Or you might remember both of them from the now defunct Bueno Skateboards. Fueled on Lone Star beer and skateboarding they’re at it again.

Stacy’s skating has always been slightly downplayed and he seems to play a similar role at Roger Skateboards. Sieben’s art is full of humor, humility and troubled lovable characters. With a seeming endless doodle pad and an undeniable style, Sieben leads the art direction of ROGER as well as lending his hand to many other brands such as Adidas, Toy Machine, Upper Playground, Thrasher Magazine and most recently his web show, “The Internet Shack.”
http://www.vimeo.com/11725034Sieben has always been able to look at skateboarding with a knack for calling out the “cool kids” and their trends. Instead of being like everyone else, he uses a tongue-in-cheek attitude to his graphics, uses quality wood and “sponsors” up-and-coming skaters with the ever changing R.O.T.M. ( Roger Of The Month ). Then there’s the never changing Sticker Team including Homebase homie, Dan Pensyl. (Quick cross promote.)

Anyone that wants to point a finger (or take thumb to their nose and wiggle fingers) better be able to back it up. Just as the art and humor continue to stay fresh, Roger backs real skateboard team that includes:

Roger holds the same commitment to skateboarding and having a good time which is similar to who we do things in the Valley. Homebase is proud to welcome Roger to our board wall. Stop in and check out the selection and remember, have fun.
Roger that. (Had to say it.)
