Thank you all so much for your votes this month.
Our voting base was incredible from the local to the international support. We got as much coverage as anyone could want from both the skate and BMX industry. I personally can’t thank everyone enough and I’m sure the City of Bethlehem feels the same way. From Facebook re-posts, tweets on Twitter, magazine coverage, The Berrics, the word of mouth, the non-skate supporters and on and on. We all wanted this so bad and acted as a unified group all fighting for the same cause.
My congratulations to the causes that did win the Pepsi Fresh grant this month. Let’s all be honest, they were pretty amazing causes. As I said in my last post, there is a silver lining to the outcome. The Bethlehem Skateplaza IS BEING BUILT AS YOU READ THIS! I encourage everyone to go see it. It’s a surreal thing to watch and a HUGE part of 610 skateboarding history. To hear Phase 1 is now scheduled to be open by June too? I’m stoked. So the only question is. . . .
