April was a tough month for us die-hard voters.
We saw our Pepsi Project sky rocket to 9th place only to see it fall and fall and fall. It’s no one’s fault. A lot of people had no idea that we got rolled into April. It was a great effort team. Keep those heads up and take heart in the FACT the Bethlehem Skateplaza IS OPENING THIS SUMMER.

Both Homebase and The City of Bethlehem are planning events to benefit the Bethlehem Skateplaza before the doors open this Summer. Even after we get to start skating the plaza we’ll need to continue raising awareness and funds to complete Phase 2 and Phase 3.

You can also help the skateplaza by helping us keep people from trespassing on the construction site.
I know you are excited about riding the plaza and it’s cool to think you were the first one to ride on the fresh cement BUT YOU NEED TO REALIZE HOW BAD THAT MAKES US LOOK.
The City is already concerned about issues like trespassing, vandalism and skaters not abiding by the rules- guess what you’re doing by skating the plaza before it’s done. We don’t need a few bad apples making the City second guess it’s invenstment into this amazing skateplaza. STAY OUT OF THE SKATEPLAZA UNTIL ITS DONE.
I pray the person dumb enough to trespass is dumb enough to post a picture on Facebook. Way to get banned for life before it opens buddy.

I know the cement looks dry but the truth is, it is still curing and setting on the inside. It’s not ready to be ridden and you could potentially damage the interior structure.
Just be patient and wait it out like the rest of us and everything will be fine. If your friend is planning on doing something stupid, be sure to smack him for all of us.
Thanks.
