At the last Saugy Session we hosted the Saugy S.K.A.T.E. Showdown Redemption Bracket to give everyone who entered the tournament one more shot at some cash. There was a $2 buy-in and with 30 knocked out skaters that COULD have been $60 bucks earned for someone.
Maybe it was the cold weather. Maybe it was the lack of sun. We waited and waited for skaters to show up but in the end we only had 12 of the 30 skaters come out and 3 decided not to play. Luckily we had some new heads buy-into the tournament and we got started as the sun was setting. The final game was played in complete darkness and only under 2 camera lights.
Major thanks to Brian for filming and editing these matches so I could judge and be a dork on the megaphone.

But before we get into that. Here are the 3, 3-person matches that were played before the finals.
Round 1.
Round 2.
Round 3.
2 out of the 3 skaters decided they wanted to get it in- light or no light. Damn it was an epic match.

Sweet, sweet redemption.

After the the winner was paid we headed to the ramp to continue the session.

Proper decketiquette. (Go ahead, try and pronounce that)

How appropriate.

Luke. Frontside ollie from low to high

Bubba. Feeble stall in a tight space.

Steinert. Coming in from a 5-o fakie.
