saugy s.k.a.t.e. showdown II: week 1 & go skateboarding day

The first 4 rounds of the Saugy S.K.A.T.E. Showdown II fell on good ol’ National Go Skateboarding Day. Whether or not Keck was packed because of the Monday Night Session, the “holiday” or just because it was officially Summertime. . . . who knows? Who cares- it was a damn god time.

No photos from this one because I thought I lost my digi when in fact it was in my center console the whole time- underneath some Homebase stickers of course. No photos just means we’ll have to show you everything through the magic of video. That’s better anyway.

The Saugy S.K.A.T.E. Showdown is basically The Battle of the Berrics minus the pros and amazing skatepark setting- we on the other hand have good homies and a pre-fab park. It’s basically the exact same thing. The first 4 matches went down pretty smooth minus Austin Ferdock not being able to show up but Vince Kutish swooped in a bought out his 4th match spot. Lot’s of good skaters in this tournament so it’s anyone’s guess who’s gonna take it. Just in case you need it- DOWNLOAD THE BRACKET HERE.
