Today we celebrate one of our countries most inspirational leaders, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Well, some of us do- others are just happy to take the day off. Nothing wrong with that but try and think about hat Dr. King did for our country for at least a moment. His efforts changed all our lives for the better and his determination gives us hope that if we believe in something strong enough- change can happen.
Not that the battle for our skateplaza is any comparison to the civil rights movement but the concept of having a dream and patiently, respectfully fighting the powers that be to make change is one in the same.
