It’s the start of what’s looking to be another long, hot summer week here in the 610.  What better way to start it off than by taking a break? I give you now, for all of your putting it off till later needs, a few reasons to procrastinate now.

Everyone remember that Sunday a few month’s back when we premiered Jake Todd’s “Fully Flaccid” at Homebase?  I’d say it was a pretty memorable time, not just for all the great skating, but for the fun way the video was put together as well.  Just in case you were looking for another flaccid fix, I stumbled upon this montage of unused footage from the likes of John Devine, Sean Kirkpatrick, Anthony Thomasetti, and Matt Militano.  I’m definitely glad this fotage got to see the light of day.

If you missed the Homebase X Kurrent BMX demo for Project M at Bethlehem City Hall yesterday, you seriously blew it.  Not only was it a fun time, but some seriously insane skating went down on the infamous City Hall doubleset, which is pretty much a guaranteed bust any other day of the year.  Luckily, we will be setting up again next Saturday to hold a best trick contest.  Stop by Homebase to sign up if you think you can go up against Theo Korkidas and this insane 360 flip.  Photo stolen from Matt Majewski.

Hyung Juhn is a guy who definitely knows what he’s doing on his board, and also one of my favorite people to run into out skating.  I’m really psyched to see some more footage coming from him, and I’m sure there’s more to come, like maybe for the next Homebase video. Right, Hyung?
