Some of you may not realize it, but with this job comes a tremendous amount of responsibility.  This post is a perfect example of that.  I sit here, week in and week out, telling all of you exactly when, like clockwork,  to put off whatever it is you really “should” be doing.  Well, this week I decided it’s time for me to actually start walking the walk.  With that said, I am pleased to tell you that it is, a full 24 hours late, time to procrastinate now.

You know what this clip made me realize?  I don’t see nearly enough footage from Mike Deangelis.  Mike is definitely a solid skateboarder with a good bag of tricks, and hopefully we’ll all be seeing more of him in the new Homebase video, currently a work in progress.

I like Jake Reppert.  Not only can he do super nice frontside bluntslides to fakie at the Bethlehem Skateplaza, but he’s also a Phillies fan.  And yes, it is that important that he’s a Phillies fan.  Photo by Matt Pepe.

This is a really solid clip of a lot of the area youngins that was filmed and editied by Dom Chiorra.  Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s from Big Meech’s YouTube acccount, I think that’s just a little something they’ve been doing to confuse me for the past several months.  Whatever.  This is a really good clip, and a great glimpse of whats to come from the next generation of Lehigh Valley skaters.  The future’s looking bright.
