preview of halloween hellraiser in nyc

Yes, I know I haven’t posted up the pictures and video from the Homebase Halloween Jam yet. I’ve been collecting pictures from everyone’s blogs and just got Brian Pennsylvania’s clip he filmed and edited so it will be up very, very soon. Maybe tonight.

I went up to NYC this past weekend to check out the Halloween Rooftop Jam Billy Rohan (Acapulco Gold) and Alex Corporan (Etnies) have been putting on for the past 2 years.

I didn’t read the flyer so I thought the event was on Halloween so when I showed up, the rooftop was empty. Normally, that would have been dope because I could have skated in peace. But, I got my board stolen at our Halloween Jam and didn’t set my new stick up yet.

Billy and his little homie AJ were doing everything to set up which I respect a lot because I can relate so I ended up just helping them clean up, put sponsor’s stickers on the ramps.

Billy helped convince this school to let him put ramps on their rooftop for these events which hundreds of kids come to compete in to win their share of the $3000 in cash and also prizes donated by the sponsors that support these events.

The calm before the storm.

Walked out of my friend’s apartment which is 2 blocks from the school. Had to show this little homies where the jam was going down.

Essex & Grand St. Stop by next time you’re in NY.

Up 5 flights.

And into the madness.

This was taken off The Hundreds website. It’s hard to see but there’s a kid doing a hurricane on the rail and I have the same photo. I’m standing in the window sill to the left of the pink skull.
More photos and video coming soon. But let me work on putting up our Halloween Jam pictures and video up first.
