It’s old news now but before the groundbreaking day Focus Skate Magazine hosted an trade show in Philly.

These types of shows typically happen in sunny southern California and are typically overrun by surfers, random inventors like the Banshee Bungee and Ripstick trying to make a buck off our culture.

Not the Focus show- just legitimate and up-and-coming skateboard brands.

Plus, a mini ramp and an open bar all day helped.

Lost Soul was there killing it- just in case you didn’t see their website.

I set up the 3-D renderings of the skateplaza at the show which attracted a lot of attention.  Steve Rodriguez from 5Boro was feeling it.

Driscoll was psyched on the pamphlet.  At least I made it on the 5Boro Travel Blog.  Thanks guys.

Scotty from The Hundreds flew out from sunny southern California to hang out in an low budget WWF wrestling arena in the cold.

First thing he did was hit up WaWa.  He’s officially down with the East in my book.

Alison and NoNo  came under the Homebase flag.  Bubs was their for Lost Soul but always reps HB.

Alex Duke was in rare form.  Hope you get those douches that jumped you man.

The show ended and we headed to Fishtown for the afterparty at the Northbowl.  Passed by Exit Skateshop and saw these clowns posted up watching what else- skate videos.

Exit, 5boro & Kinetic all in one room.  Piled out.

Rustica was NoNo approved.

Got to the Northbowl where beers and bowling were free compliments of Focus and Adidas.
