Kerry Getz is a skater I have looked to for a long time because he’s just like you and me . . .

So maybe he’s a little better on a board but he still grew up out here in PA. Actually, he grew up in an area that was a lot worse for skateboarding than the Lehigh Valley- he grew up in Lehighton. Kerry actually traveled down to Allentown and Bethlehem to skate good spots.

Kerry was on his way out to skate the new Woodward China facility but he was nice enough to send me this quote and these pictures before taking off.
Bethlehem and Allentown use to be my old stomping grounds. Even after moving to Philly and starting my career as a professional skateboard and getting to travel the world. I would still go back to my favorite spots in Bethlehem to film.
The skate industry has grown and so has the skate communities. There are hundreds of basketball courts and tennis courts. There needs to be more skateparks in all these small towns to take care of the kids who love skateboarding.
Skateboarding kept me out of trouble and kept me motivated to do something good in my life. Now I’m living my dream…
