The KR3W’s All Here. It hurts my soul to have to make another post about Spring apparel coming in while there’s snow falling from the sky. . . but, here we are and here is KR3W Spring 2010

Would snapback hats be considered “Green?”  They’re 1 size fits all instead of a 7, 7 1/8, 7 3/8 and on and on and on.

You Know We Got Sole.

Es‘ and Emerica dropped a few more shoes on us this week.  We’ll start it off with the Shake Junt edition of Brian Herman’s G-Code.  Available in sizes 8-13

img00215-20100217-1920.jpg

Manderson designed an Es’ Square One in dedication to a fallen brother and Krooked rider, Van Wastell.

I finally dug out my box of spare laces from years and years of buying skate shoes.  Lots of good SB colored laces just in case you’re looking to match something up.  Come cop a pair for $5.  Got regular black and white ones for $3 too

img00216-20100218-1153.jpg

Better Late Than Never.

These Dunk Mids go with a Nike SB x ACG collaboration storm jacket.  Although the jacket is amazing, due to the steep price of the jacket we won’t be getting it in.

The Dunk Mids feature a clean color palette and a good use of materials instead of some out of this world color scheme.   They are available in sizes 6-13.

img00201-20100217-1414.jpg

I’m just as bummed Nike SB stopped making the Blazer Low and I know a lot of people haven’t come around to loving the Bruin like I do yet so this P-Rod 2.5 might be a good compromise.  It features all the same details that made the P-Rod 2 so dope but none of the bulkiness and it has a vulcanized sole.

The P-Rod 2.5 in black/white is available in sizes 6-13.

img00202-20100217-1415.jpg

5Boro Deck and Softgood Re-Stock.

The Return of Upper Playground.

It’s been a minute since we brought in a new delivery from Upper Playground.  For those who don’t know, UP is a clothing brand driven by artists and this small collection we’ve brought in features the work of Usugrow, Jeremy Fish and Patrick Martinez.

I have no words to describe how amazing Usugrow’s work is.  See it for yourself.

img00212-20100217-1654.jpg

Patrick Martinez.  Never Serious

img00210-20100217-1653.jpg

Jeremy Fish.  Never not funny.

Introducing the The Vans Classic Slip On in black and white checkerboard.

After almost 8 years in business we proudly announce that we have a skateboard classic on our shoe wall now.

img00154-20100212-2056.jpg

*The real classic release in the natural white- not the super bright white.

Who cares that Spicoli made every mall-kid, hipster and nu-metal band member wear them.  We all can love them together. . . . some of us will just be skating in them harder than others.  Same for these other Vans Classics. . .

random-235.jpg

Murdered out.
random-234.jpgWe finally got our re-up on G-Shocks.  A lot of people wonder why they are”so expensive,” visit the site and see what kinds of tests they put the product through.  They are just as functional as they are nice to look at when on your wrist.  Plus, if you fall while skating or if you decide to run them over with your car- they won’t break.

It’s not everything we wanted but at least we got the Mr. Cartoon.  If you don’t know Mr. Cartoon its probably because you don’t have any tattoos- read more here.

random-217.jpg

You can schedule an appointment with him years in advance and pay a few thousand for 2-3 hours in his chair or you can but the G-Shock he designed- which comes off.

Zoo York has created a special line for core skateshops called ZY Institute.

This capsule collection was all designed by Zoo pro Zered Basset.  The first piece is the Dr Z pullover windbreaker that looks simple but has a lot of technical hidden features.
