how much longer?

Honestly, with the way the City Inspector is nit-picking on us I do not know anymore. Maybe this Tuesday- maybe not. The inspector came by yesterday and gave me a list of “violations” that needed to be fixed. Today, he came back to check on them and they were fine- granted a few things did not get done but seriously- we have a HUGE, light up EXIT sign, is it really going to kill anyone if it takes another few days to get A SECOND, SMALLER, LOWER hanging exit sign by the door? The only good part about all this is I’m getting some more time to finish up some loose ends at the shop.

I’d post up picstures of the shoe wall that Gary and Dustin have been helping me with- to their dismay (they hate it- its so complicated- kidding, kidding) but I forgot the camera at home. I pretty much worked at the shop from 8am til 12am and its still not completely done- I did other stuff too but yeah- its a pretty complicated display for shoes. Hope y’all like it.

I saw a lady get hit by a car no more than 10 feet in front of me wile I was walking across New St by the Subway. It was probably the most awkward car accident because the car was going at a slow speed and if the driver was paying attention, he could have easily braked but instead he gentely ran his car into this 70 year old woman. She got thrown onto the hood but luckily was in pretty good shape- she didn’t even want an ambulance. After I gave my witness statement to the police I think the first thing that came to mind was “Damn, would have made a good blog post.” Ruthless.

Stop by and visit me working at the shop tomorrow if you want. If you need something- cash only. If you want to hang out- keep the lurking to a minimum so I can get the shop done.

Kurtz (in boxers) just had knee surgery on his ACL so stop by and bring him some flowers- the dude loves daisies. Heal up man.
Nik- hope you and the rest of the Seniors had a good time at Prom. Good thing Wes had the BBQ so you could practice your dance moves.
