The Homebase Skateshop & Source Bikeshop teams have teamed up with the Phillipsburg Police Department and Norwescap for National Night Out Against Crime. The event features programs designed to heighten crime prevention and drug awareness, generate support for local anti-crime efforts and strengthen ties between the police and the community all over New Jersey.
The Phillipsburg event will take place 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the municipal building, 675 Corliss Ave (click for directions from Homebase).
There will be DJ entertainment, free refreshments, a dunk tank, moon bounce and bicycle raffles. There also will be skateboard, BMX bicycle, gymnastics and K9 demonstrations.
