Help “Complete” a Skaters Christmas

We’ve all been there as kids: skating all year long, patiently waiting for Christmas to roll around so you could get that “Christmas Complete.”  The one time of year you get EVERYTHING brand new: Deck, trucks, wheels, bearings and all the way down to the bolts.  It didn’t matter what the weather was on Christmas Day; you were outside shoveling a patch of driveway wearing 3 hoodies just to do some ollie’s on that fresh set up.  Those were the days.

Unfortunately not every child has that memory because sometimes a brand new complete is out of Santa’s price range.  Times are tough; even in the North Pole.  Thankfully Homebase has some amazingly generous customers that are fortunate enough to be able to give back to others this year and provide some lucky kids with the joy of that “Christmas-complete.”

The first year we were able to help 3 kids out with new skateboards- read about it HERE.

Last year, because of our anonymous donors generosity we gave out 10 complete skateboards- read about it HERE.

This year we are honored to be able to give 6 complete skateboards out this year to families in need this year but WE STILL NEED YOUR HELPHere’s how you can help:

  • Do you know a child 16 years old or younger that absolutely LOVES skateboarding?  It could be your brother, sister, best friend or even your son or daughter.
  • Stop by Homebase and pick up a recommendation letter, fill it out completely and tell us about the skater you think should get a brand new complete skateboard.  Or, e-mail all the info to: Shop@Homebase610.com

The deadline to submit your recommendation is December 20th so we can be sure the skaters get their boards by Christmas morning.

Plus, just by recommending a skater you can get a 10% Off Discount on any apparel item at Homebase as a thank you for taking the time to think of someone else this Holiday Season.  If you’re interested in helping us give out a complete skateboard, please don’t hesitate to contact us: Shop@Homebase610.com.  The more the merrier.

Happy Holidays Everybody!
