I don’t have my digital camera with all the pictures from our opening day on saturday so you’ll just have to read about it or check one of our other blogger’s pages for some pics.
Opening day was amazing and a lot of people came thru to show their support and see the new shop. Thanks to everyone who put up with the cash only sales- hopefully we’ll be more prepared for Saturday. I can’t express the relief I feel now that our doors are open and the blessing it is to have friends and family that have supported this shop and helped it grow into what we are now. It’s great to be in a space that I can look at and remember who helped with each part of the shop from the painting, to the floors to the countertops. I honestly feel the reason why Homebase has become so successful is because I’m only one part of the many who make this shop what it is. Everyone who rides for us, works for us, buys from us, comes to our events to the people who lurk at the shop everyday . . .you’re the reason why Homebase is alive. You are our heart.
Yes, I am getting sentimental so i’ll stop and remind you that it’s going to be madness this weekend:
