Always ones to buck the trend, we here at Homebase decided to hold our official Go Skateboarding Day festivities on Saturday, June 23rd this year.  The thinking was that, even though we all got out to do some skating on the actual Go Skateboarding Day, we would hold our events on Saturday so people wouldn’t have to miss out on the celebration because of silly things like jobs.

I know we already put up a pretty comprehensive post, so i won’t bore you by retelling what was done and where, but i did want to get out this little iPhone clip I made of the day’s events.  A lot of kids came out and traveled around to all the spots, ate tacos, and skated hard all day with us, so I wanted to make sure their footage got out there.  Sorry it’s a little shaky at times…I really do drink a whole lot of Red Bull.
