Homebase has been carrying Mighty Healthy for a few season, a t-shirt here and fitted there. I just wanted to shed some light on who this brand is and how they are relevant to skateboarding- especially on the East Coast.
Ray Mate is the co-creator of MH- the Filipino dude in between Gino and Guy Mariano. Why? Because Ray’s an OG East Coast skater from Long Island. I don’t know the whole story but one time I was walking around New York and he was posing by a cellar door holding a Colt 45 40 oz for an ad or something.
You’re all good in my book if you’re doing collabs with Colt 45 and Billy Dee.
