Before Homebase opened, I always wanted to wear Fourstar. I guess everyone I looked up to as a skater rode for them- Mike Carroll, Keenan Milton, Guy Mariano, Eric Koston, Rick Howard and Gonz. Their designs were always clean and classic just like their logo- a box within a box, one containing a 4 and another a star. Genius.
And who doesn’t love the Skate Pirate? Kurtz even got it tattooed on him.

With the masterminds who made skate films like “Mouse,” “Yeah Right” and “Fully Flared” behind the lenses of the Fourstar projects you know they’re going to be good- and as a bonus they’re free. They’re not as long as the board and shoe company films but they’re always fun to watch, the skating is mind blowing and you feel like you’re on tour with the team. Pretty much all the makings of a good video for me.
Gang of Fourstar is the latest clip so watch it here or go to the Fourstar website. While you’re there you can watch all the other clips they’ve made over the years.
Let me just say, Sean Malto is amazing.
