first look at the nike sb bruin- thanks to casey

Thanks to Casey’s dope window display for the Nike SB Stefan Janoski shoe release, Homebase won a little contest put on by Tyler Tufty our SB rep- for the dopest Stefan Janoski window display.

The package came today and to our surprise it was not a box of Janoski’s but three pairs of the Supreme Nike Bruin.  For those of you who are not Hypebeast addicts, Supreme is a skateshop in New York City that gets lines of kids all the way around their block everytime they decide to release a lighter, t-shirt or incense try with their name on it.  Nike has done multiple collaborations with the shop and they decided to use Supreme to introduce the skateboarding world to the Bruin.

Like the Nike Blazer, the Bruin was one of Nike’s first shoe’s introduced to the basketball market.  It has the same grip you expect from the Blazer and the design has a very classic look so you don’t look like a mall-grabbing child when you’re off your board.

Yes, Supreme is “world famous” and these shoes are currently selling on Ebay for anywhere from $140-$225.  I will be skating in my pair after I burn through my current pair of Fallens.

To all you sneakerheads, I took the red ones but Casey might be willing to sell you the whtie/red (10.5) and green/white (7) to someone.  She works wednesday through friday at the shop.  Better hurry.
