Cleaning up after Sandy: Tips & Info from HB
Categories: Livelocal*, Shop News
Homebase and most of South Bethlehem are still powerless from Hurricane Sandy’s wrath. Stay posted on the Homebase Facebook for updates on the shop.
We’d love to open up soon so everyone still out of power can come thru, charge your phones, watch some skate videos and fight that cabin fever. Please be extra safe if you decide to leave your home.
If you haven’t already, please report any power outages ONCE to PP&L here.
With all the downed trees and power outages taking out stop lights, remember your drivers test: INOPERABLE STOPLIGHTS BECOME 4-WAY STOPS. Don’t just assume you have the right of way- we all have places to go. Drive safely.
Hungry? Easy Weenies is on the block across the street from Homebase selling hot dogs, cheesesteaks and they even have veggie options for you too. The pizza shop next to Homebase, Sotto’s doesn’t have lights but they are cooking up pizzas for everyone who can’t cook at home.
Once we get open, we’ll be in the shop getting ready for our big sale this weekend. The temperatures are falling and we’ll have some great deals for you like $25 Winter jackets and $15 hoodies.
Don’t sleep on this! Black Friday isn’t the only big sale in November.
Now back to the hurricane’s I do like . . .
