If anyone would know what’s up with a good skateplaza Chris Cole would.
He won this year’s Maloof Money Cup which is an invitational contest on a skateplaza that replicates true street obstacles just like the Bethlehem Skateplaza. The Maloof Cup course was built by California Skateparks which is one of the park builders bidding on the Bethlehem project as well.
I sent Chris Cole some information about the Bethlehem Skateplaza in hopes he would be able to come out for mid-October ground breaking ceremony. He won’t be able to make it but he sent these words of encouragement:
” Arizona has a ton of parks, all concrete outdoor, and all good. California has a skatepark for every town…literally! Growing up in Pa we had few if any parks. Most kids have to drive hours to get to one. Building Pennsylvania skateparks is a project we should all work on. I can’t wait to skate it!!!”
