can’t we all just get along?

Focus Skate Magazine posted up our flyer for Taco Tuesday a while back in support of the Bethlehem Skateplaza- good looking out guys. Then guess what popped up on the message board- haters.

Surprise, surprise. Click here to read the full message board posts.
Here is my response to of course, an anonymous comment since cowards don’t say they’re name:
Always breeding that negativity instead of building with those who are trying to do good against chain skateshops and sporting good stores.
I don’t even try to hate on AA anymore because there are bigger issues to deal with the state of the skate industry. I reach out to all your riders, send people to your shop instead of Zumiez and make sure you have all the skateplaza info but you guys only know how to hate.
And if you want to take it too how long you’ve been in the Lehigh Valley- I wonder how much of that 25+ years were spent trying to make something like the skateplaza happen for the skate scene- or which guys that are now in their 30′s and 40′s that skate with us did you support when they were coming up on the East Coast?
I got nothing against anyone who supports Amatuer Athlete and if you ride for them then get yours- but understand that just because you were around for longer then us, doesn’t mean you have more heart for skateboarding. I love scene here so much I appreciate the fact that you’re part of it now so promote as much bad blood as you want.
I’m just going to keep doing my thing and thank everyone who sees that.
* Let me be clear that I don’t hate on anyone who works or shops at Zumiez. It is my personal opinion that skaters should support local skateshops that get invovled with the local skate scene. There are plenty of people at the Zumiez in the LV Mall who want to support the skateplaza and Homebase- I hope you don’t take it personal.
