We’ve been getting a lot of people stopping by Homebase from out of town lately. They’ve either heard about Homebase and the skateplaza from The Berrics or word-of-mouth about an insane new skateplaza getting built.
It’s funny how many people still don’t believe this is even happening. Look at these pictures.
You tell me. Is this happening?

F.A. Rhorbach’s crew has been working overtime to get phase 1 completed as soon as possible so we have a place to skate this Summer. The good weather we’ve been having has given the crew more time to work so the construction is ahead of schedule. Instead of the predicted July opening we might be able to start skating by mid-June now.
Please be sure to respect the construction site. Do not step inside the fence unless you have permission from the City and the construction crew.
We are all under the watch of the City and the community. One piece of bad press can really hurt our efforts to complete the skateplaza. Once the plaza is open we will need to work together to police ourselves and look out for the plaza’s best interests. Fighting, graffiti, drinking and littering are the City’s biggest worries about the skateplaza and some of the easiest things we can prevent.
Skateboarding may not be a team sport but taking care of the skateplaza will be.
Daaaang, that should be a t-shirt huh.
