Hope y’all had a good 4th of July even though it seemed like the sun never even came out. Thanks to everyone who came by Homebase for the first day of our Summer Swap Sale. So far we’ve filled up 2 huge boxes with your used clothing and shoes to donate to the halfway homes in the southside. The sale runs til the 11th so be sure to stop by and save some loot . . . because we all can use a little extra cash for that gas tank.
We opened up to shop and found this little guy flapping around. He couldn’t fly so we took him over to Eskandalo since they’re not only amazing stylists- they care for animals of all types too. Plus, I had to put him down because little bugs started jumping off of him onto my hand.
Swap something old and get something new- for cheap. If you want a new t-shirt, bring in an old one and get the new one for $15. Bring in an old pair and get a new pair for 10, 25 or 50% off. And no . . . more old stuff to swap does not get you more of a discount.

Ray and Derek were nice enough to let me take off early so I got a chance to schralp in the alley with the homies for a bit before heading over to NoNo’s crib for a classic 4th of July BBQ.
Don’t judge me. It may look terrible but Adrienne’s taco dip goes good on everything.
Screw Playstation 3 and the WII. A original Pong, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Pac-man, Battlezone and Pole Position . . . . NoNo’s basement is like a childhood dream come true. No quarters needed.
