a moment of silence

There are moments in life where you can vividly recall where you were, what you were doing and how you felt in that block of time.  Ten years ago today is most likely one of those moments for all of us who lived through one of our countries darkest days.

One of the last nights I sent in London was with 3 Danish girls all recalling where we were the moment we heard about the Twin Towers attack.  The tragedy of thousands of lives lost in an act of hate was truly felt around the world.

Life does go on and our wounds from that day are healing- some more quickly than others but take a moment today to think abut where you were, what you were doing and how you felt.

Then if you feel inclined, take a moment of silence to honor those who lost their lives in the attack and the men and women who lost thier lives trying to save total strangers.

Never forget.
