I’m trying my best to stick to “Monday Staff Skate” day as best as I can so I rounded up a crew of non-working Monday skaters- Andrew Colbert, John Shiner and Andrew Kurtz for a trip to Jersey City and New York. As Colbert put it, I hustled him into driving me to New York under the guise of skating. But at least we did go skating.
First stop was to drop off the “Where the Heart is” Master DVD. Wooo-Hooo.

Before dropping of the master.

After dropping off the master.

Working doesn’t end thanks to technology.

Shiner going to work. Mike emery got him the job.

Bad day at the office. Turned $6 into $1 and an extra ticket.

Stopped by Colbert’s friend’s skateshop in Jersey City, Nine Lives to wait for Julien.

Lurking is key at any skateshop.
Walked by the biggest dog ever and skated Jersey’s version of Saugy.

The CONS “benches” are perfect- as tall as the high Saugy boxes but with angle iron. We’re still waiting for ours to get shipped to the shop.

Not your average street art: Ron English and Bigfoot wheat pastes.

Cheaper than the tunnel: Park and take the Path train.
Pull into World Trade- pretty sobering, skate to the Brooklyn Banks and enjoy the smells.

Everyone left back to PA and I caught the train to meet up with my friends. More pictures to come . . .
