2 spots found in 1 stop

I was told about a small bakery that made their own granola so I figured I’d check it out and eat something healthy for once.  The Granola Factory is located at 518 Long Street which cuts between Market and Broad on the northside of Bethlehem.

The Granola Factory has been around for 3 years and I just found out about it.  Kind of like how some people are just finding out about Homebase after almost 7 years.

What does this have to do with a skateshop website?  Well, after I got my pineapple bran muffin and coffee I sat at the window and saw this . . . .

According to the girls who work at the Granola Factory they never really see people skating out in the lot (aka: Not a blown out Bethlehem spot) and the lot is typically empty on Saturday and Sunday.  The pole jam needs to be turned slightly so you can hit it and there’s a bigger gap towards the end.  If you can ollie really high you can try and ollie from the alley up to polejam on a pole that’s bent into the lot . . . Dustin, Keeler, Dalrymple you want at it?

Try not to blow the spot out too fast guys and make sure you buy some baked goods from the nice girls at The Granola Factory.

Skaters are always coming by the shop complaining there are no spots in the Lehigh Valley.   True, we don’t have the ledges Cali but its the challenge of making our spots work that gives skaters here and all over the east coast that unique and raw style.  Perfect ledge lines with a flip trick at the end are boring.  Just keep searching y’all.
